Im in need of horse quality hay. know of anyone? ive put out adds on craigslist and look through papers daily, just thought to try here…
Also… Im looking for a used mini cart under 200$.
o wow $2/bale? thats cheap. I live near lima ohio,, but mother in law lives in lancaster. we could take a trip out that way.
Okay! Thank you SO much! I will only need about 25 bales or so. I have a Miniature mare who has acess to pasture 24/7 but im wanting to start saving for winter. please e-mail me at wannabeemini@hotmail.com.
Hmm…well how far are you willing to go? I live near Zanesville, Ohio and we got our hay last summer for $2/bale of **excellent* quality hay (grass and alfafla) but we helped pick the bales out of the field…so he may charge a bit more now since they are stored already..but probably not too much; he's pretty reasonable. That is, if there is any left….I know that we had reserved 75 bales in case we needed them, but it doesn't look like we're going to so he may have at least that many left….but I can't swear to it.
EDIT::
Let me check with him and make sure there's some left, and double check on the price…He usually give us a deal because we always help pick the hay from the fields, but I can't imagine he would charge much more than that…non one can believe we get it that cheap, especially with how high it's been recently…I will email you when I get a hold of him, probably tomorrow sometime.

If all else fails, try the Thoroughbred Training Center in Lexington KY, they always have hay and will import from Canada if needed.
